Charles Charles, who works for the drug giant Williams & Williams gives us an incredible insight into the seedy world of the drug rep in a series of videos posted on YouTube. In the winter of 2004, acclaimed documentarians Hesh and Ole van Krup were given unlimited access to Williams & Williams Pharmaceuticals, Inc. They have produced a twenty part behind the scenes look at the machine known as “big pharma.”
The Williams & Williams website can be viewed here. Their blockbuster drug Confarta® was launched in the spring of 2005 and subsequently pulled from the market three months later. It is currently pending an updated safety review by the FDA. But somehow I doubt if that small detail will stop Charles Charles and Williams & Williams…
