Mary, Paxil is not a good drug (as you can see by the sheer volume of negative information about this drug) .
The fact that he can't reach orgasm is a direct result of Paxil and a common side effect. If he feels broken and abnormal, then he should be getting some kind of psychological councelling or support, Paxil will not fix him. In fact it could damage him very badly. I hope you both can find a way through this without Paxil. All the best.

Hi,
My boyfriend has just started taking this to help with anxiety and panic attacks, it has helped him some what but i'm getting more and more worried about the future the more i read about it!
One of the side effects he's suffering is the inablity to reach orgasm, has anyone found a way to counter act this? it seems to be adding to him feeling broken and abnormal by being unable to achieve the most natual things anymore.

I took Seoxat for four years. I have to say it really helped me feel normal again. When I was ready to come off the doctor said to reduce the dose sliowly every few days. I did this and got all those horrible side effects. I wne tback to the docotrs and she prescribe liquid Seroxta. This way you can reduce the dose in realy tiny amounts. It worked wonderfully, took a while but was worth it and I would recommend that if you want to come off it I found this way the best.
